BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. Farms in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan have received offspring at the level of 467 camels this season, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, the plan to obtain camel offspring was carried out in full.
At the moment, small camels are under the constant supervision of veterinarians in the region.
In general, in the region, this season, the offspring of sheep and goats was also received at the level of 215,000 heads.
Agriculture is an important part of Turkmenistan's economy. Work is being carried out to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, strengthen the feed base of the industry, and the improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
