BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 29. During a government meeting held last Friday, Batyr Amanov, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, provided an update on the measures taken to enhance the material and technical base of the production facilities within the Turkmengas State Concern, Trend reports.
In light of this, a draft document addressing these matters was presented for the President's consideration.
Following the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ensuring the stable and productive operation of the oil and gas industry through infrastructure and production facility modernization, equipment renewal, and the adoption of efficient technologies.
After signing the presented resolution, the President forwarded it to the Vice-Chairman via the digital system, instructing him to address the tasks outlined in the document.
Emphasizing the necessity of preparing the relevant structures within the Turkmengas State Concern for the upcoming winter season, the President provided specific instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
Meanwhile, currently, Turkmengas State Concern is drilling 10 new wells at the Galkynysh field. At this stage of exploration of the Galkynysh field, forecast calculations of development indicators provide for 7 stages of development, and also added that within the first stage of development of the field, the operating fund of production wells is 51 units. The average design flow rate of gas is 1.5 million cubic meters per day, and the potential capabilities of the reservoir allow for a long time to operate wells with a flow rate of more than 2 million cubic meters per day.
