Uzbek parliamentary elections, and also regional district and city council polls are to be held on December 27, a Central Election Commission representative said, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the representative the CEC has announced the start of the election campaigning.
All Uzbek citizens of 18 or over can vote in the elections. The number of candidates is expected to increase from 120 to 150 people.
