As part of the work to promote economic diplomacy, attract foreign investment in the economy, as well as increase the export potential of Uzbekistan, Uzbek diplomats visited the Japanese city of Tahara, Aichi Prefecture.

Mayor of Tahara emphasized interest in establishing cooperation and expanding partnership relations with the cities of Uzbekistan. As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on the preparation of proposals for the joint study of issues of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.

Also, an agreement was reached to work out the issue of sending Uzbek specialists to the farms of the Aichi Minami cooperative, as well as to hold an online business seminar to highlight the agricultural potential of Uzbekistan for Japanese farms.

It contains vitamin K2, which helps prevent osteoporosis, and polyamines that slow down aging. Nagoya University is currently studying the benefits of natto in the fight against coronavirus.

Thus, the parties studied in detail the technology of production of the product and its production possibilities in Uzbekistan, including from soybeans grown in the country.
