Qanot Sharq, Uzbekistan’s first private airline, began operating flights on the Tashkent-Moscow route on A320-200 aircrafts with a frequency of two flights a week on Thursdays and Saturdays, Trend reports citing kun.uz.

"The fleet consists of two A-320 aircraft manufactured by the European aircraft building concern Airbus. By the end of 2022, delivery of two A-330 airliners is expected. The airline's management considers the A-320 and A-330 aircraft to be very convenient for tourism development, since they can deliver up to 300 passengers to Uzbekistan on each flight," the message says.

It is noted that over 20 years of activity, Qanot Sharq airline has accumulated significant experience mainly in the field of air cargo transportation. During this period, the airline managed to create a network of large agencies in Uzbekistan and abroad and transported more than 100,000 tons of cargo.

At the same time, over the past seven years, the airline has also worked in the field of passenger transportation.

"Having established effective cooperation with local and foreign airlines, Qanot Sharq carried more than 150,000 passengers through charter flights," the message says.
