Uzbekistan has imported 455,800 tons of potatoes in the amount of $53.2 million from 13 foreign countries from January through November 2021, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
This figure increased by 74,200 tons compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
During this period, most potatoes were imported from Kazakhstan in the amount of 150,000 tons.
The main countries that exported potatoes to Uzbekistan in 11 months of 2021 were: Iran (136,000 tons), Pakistan (128,000 tons), Kyrgyzstan (24,000 tons), Netherlands (11,000 tons), Russia (4,500 tons), France (616 tons).
