BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 25. The value of services provided to the population of Uzbekistan from January through July 2022 is worth 190,7 trillion soums ($17.6 billion), which is an increase of 23.4 percent compared to the same period last year (154.6 trillion soums or $14.3 billion), Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The volume of communication and information services in this period amounted to 12.2 trillion soums ($1.1 billion), transport services – 41.7 trillion soums ($3.8 billion), trade services – 47.6 trillion soums ($4.4 billion), financial services – 44.2 trillion soums ($4 billion).
From January through July 2022, the largest volume of services was provided to residents of Tashkent city, as well as the Tashkent region, the smallest volume was provided to residents of the Syrdarya region.
During this period, the volume of services provided per capita amounted to 5.4 million soums ($496.7).
