BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 25. Uzbekneftegaz and its enterprises have overfulfilled the export plan by 15.4 percent during the first month of 2023, Trend reports via the company’s statement.
The company planned to export products and services worth $23.3 million, while the export figure was brought up to $ 26.9 million.
The main share of the company's exports fell on polyethylene (46 percent) and industrial services (26 percent), while Uzbekistan GTL, a subsidiary of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, exported 9,700 tons of synthetic naphtha products.
To date, Uzbekneftegaz exports its products to 11 countries, in particular, to Türkiye, Latvia, Afghanistan, China, Russia, etc.
By the end of 1Q2023, Uzbekneftegaz plans to bring export indicators up to $81 million.
Furthermore, in 2022, Uzbekneftegaz exported some 38,500 tons of sulfur products worth $1.5 million tons at the expense of the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant and joint ventures.
During the reporting period, the company also produced goods worth 4 trillion soums ($356.5 million) as a part of 18 projects. The company, in cooperation with local producers, launched 16 new types of production.
Meanwhile, the value of services provided by Uzbekneftegaz JSC in 2022 amounted to 1.078 trillion soums ($95.2 million).
