BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 9. Uzbekneftegaz and its enterprises sold some 39,200 tons of sulfur through exchange trading in January and February 2023, Trend reports via the company.
The sales resulted in 22.56 billion soums ($1.9 million) worth of revenues - all from sales in the domestic market at the expense of the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant and joint ventures.
In 2022, the enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz JSC sold 440,200 tons of sulfur. During 2022, some 436,100 tons of sulfur products were sold at the expense of the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant and joint ventures.
In particular, the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant exported 38,500 tons of sulfur products worth $1.5 million from January through December 2022.
