BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 22. Uzbekistan's Uzbekneftegaz and Export–Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) reached an agreement on prospective plans, Trend reports.
The mentioned agreement was reached during the negotiations held between the sides, as part of the "Oil and Gas Uzbekistan - OGU 2023" 25th Anniversary International Exhibition and the "UEF-2023" 3rd International Energy Forum of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Uzbekneftegaz presented its upcoming strategies for expanding gas reserves in the following years. The representatives of KEXIM expressed support for Uzbekneftegaz's initiatives and reassured its readiness for further collaboration.
KEXIM has been a longstanding and reliable partner of Uzbekneftegaz. An example of this partnership is the implementation of such huge projects as Uzbekistan GTL [gas-to-liquids plant] and the construction of the Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex with the support of Korean financial institutions, including KEXIM.
