TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 14. Uzbekistan and German Bio Energy company discussed construction of vertical greenhouses of a closed type in Uzbekistan’s region of Namangan, Trend reports.

The issue was discussed between the administration of the Namangan region headed by Shavkatjon Abdurazakov and the representatives of the energy supply company within the framework of a German delegation’s visit to Uzbekistan.

The projected expenditure for the discussed initiative is set to amount to 14 million euros.

Bio Energy specializes in offering a range of services to enhance the efficiency and reliability of district heating networks. Their expertise includes the installation of pre-insulated district heating pipes designed to optimize the performance of the heating infrastructure.

Additionally, Bio Energy provides services for the integration of advanced leak warning systems. These systems are strategically incorporated to actively monitor the pipes, promptly detecting any signs of damage or leaks.

Earlier this month, the issues of investing German companies in the Namangan region were discussed with the Executive director of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, Michael Harms.

Following the talks, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the German-Eurasian Economic Association (DEWIB) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to strengthen and expand trade and economic relations.

Meanwhile, Germany has included Uzbekistan in the list of 34 selected states with which the government will encourage economic cooperation through preferential investment guarantees.

The German Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection stated that the reform is aimed at reducing the dependence of business on cooperation with China.
