TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, March 27. Uzbekistan's enterprises manufactured industrial products worth 96.9 trillion soums ($7.7 billion) from January through February 2024, Trend reports.
As per data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, the index of physical volume of industrial production amounted to 116.4 percent year-on-year.
Differentiation analysis of industrial output per capita from January through February 2024 showed a significant excess of the national indicator (2.6 million soums, or $206) in the Navoi region (16.9 million soums, or $1,343), Tashkent city (5.8 million soums, or $460), and Tashkent region (4.8 million soums, or $381).
In the structure of production, the largest specific weight falls on the enterprises of the manufacturing industry (77.8 percent), the output of which amounted to 75.4 trillion soums ($5.9 billion).
Tashkent city (18.1 percent), Tashkent region (15.2 percent), Navoi region (18.6 percent), Andijan region (9.9 percent), Samarkand region (4.7 percent), and Ferghana region (4.6 percent) accounted for the largest share of the total volume of industrial production in the country during this period.
Meanwhile, according to preliminary data, Uzbek enterprises manufactured 655.8 trillion soums ($52.4 billion) worth of industrial products in 2023.
