TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 15. The number of bank cards in circulation in Uzbekistan amounted to 47.1 million from January through February 2024, Trend reports.
As per data from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan’s Xalq Bank leads the ranking with 10.9 million bank cards.
Ipotekabank ranks second with more than 3.8 million bank cards. Uzbekistan's National Bank closes the top 3 with more than 3.5 million bank cards.
The CBU notes that the smallest number of bank cards issued into circulation was registered in Uzbekistan’s Yangi bank – 104, while Apex bank did not issue any bank cards.

Meanwhile, a total of 430,264 payment terminals were installed in Uzbekistan from January through February 2024. The volume of revenues through payment terminals reached 47.5 trillion soums ($3.7 billion) during this period.
At the same time, the number of installed ATMs and infokiosks in the country totaled 26,917 from January through February 2024, while the number of bank cards in circulation in Uzbekistan amounted to 47.1 million.
