Holding any talks is considered a step forward, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday commenting on the nuclear talks with the Group 5+1.
The talks were held in Geneva, Switzerland, on Saturday with the participation of Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili, The European Union foreign policy chief, Javier Solana and the US Undersecretary of State William Burns, the IRNA reported.
Commenting on the enemies threats against Iran, the president said, "We expect threats and hostility from the enemies side, but we are getting stronger day by day and keep moving forward." The president made the remarks speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a memorial ceremony held to mark the first anniversary of the demise of the senior cleric Ayatollah Ali Meshkini who was the former chairman of the Assembly of Experts.
