Iran is Turkey's friend, Turkish Prime-Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with British newspaper The Guardian.
Erdogan will pay official visit to Tehran after the talks with the Pakistani government in Islamabad, CNN Turk said.
"Ahmadinejad (Iranian President) is sure to be our friend. Besides friendly relations, we have good ties. We have no problems," Erdogan said.
He said that Turkey strives to be a bridge between Muslim world and Europe.
Erdogan plans to discuss trade relations between countries, as well as the agreement on Iranian gas import with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khomenei and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran.
