Central Bank of Iran has recently published a report on the number of employed members of the Iranian households over the last Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20).
According to the report, there are no employed people in the 26.4 percent of Iranian households. Meanwhile, there is only one employed member in 55.7 percent of Iranian households.
The reports added that only 14.7 percent of the households have two employed members. This is while there are three and more employed persons in 3.2 percent of the households.
The gross income of per Iranian household over the mentioned period stood at $11,226 (35.258 million rials by the official rate on Sep.22).
And, the total cost of per Iranian household amounted to $11,228 (35.265 million rials).
