The Norwegian company DNO has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) over studies on Changuleh oil field.
After signing the MoU, NIOC Deputy for Development and Engineering Qolamreza Manuchehri expressed hope that DNO presents the study results in six months.
He also urged the Norwegian company to launch an office in Iran.
Changuleh is situated in western Iran, just 10 kilometers from the border with Iraq.
Shared oil field are put high on agenda at the Iranian Oil Ministry.
