Iran has increased the compressed natural gas (CNG) consumption by 2.5 million cubic meters per day to 20.8 mcm/d in a fiscal year to March 2017, compared to a fiscal year to March 2013, an official document, prepared by Iran’s Oil Ministry says.
The CNG stations number also increased by 201 to 2382 during the mentioned period.
According to Iran’s 5-year development Iran, it should import 17,000 buses and 140,000 taxis that use gas (CNG) as fuel. Currently about there are about 3.2 million dual-fuel cars in Iran.
