Abbas Keshavarz, Iran’s deputy agriculture minister said that FAO has agreed to implement a pilot project in Iran to improve the country’s Agriculture Monitoring System.

The pilot project will be implemented in Zanjan, Mazandaran and Kerman provinces which have different climatic conditions, he added.

The date of this system should be up to date, predictable and analytical, he said, adding that it will report all events including climatic fluctuations, weather changes and so on.
