The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 31:
Export floor: Offers 110,000 tons of iron ore iron ore granules from Central Plateau Iron Ore Mines Co. as well as 19,910 tons of bitumen, sulphur and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 103,666 tons of chemicals, bitumen, vacuum bottom feed stock and sulphur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,520 tons of 1000lb aluminum ingot, 620 tons of aluminum billet, 1,280 tons of aluminum alloy ingots, 100 tons of zinc ingots and 10 kilograms of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 12,000 tons of wheat, 4,550 tons of sugar, 2,500 tons of crude vegetable oil, 170 tons of large lentil as well as 3,548 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 500 tons of palm oil from Malaysia and 20 tons of lactic butter from Belgium and Germany.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
