The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for May 14:
Export floor: Offers 42,500 tons of bitumen and insulation and 8,000 tons of saffron.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 159,023 tons of polymers, bitumen and vacuum bottom as well as sulphur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 2,000 tons of 1000 lb aluminum ingots and 330 tons of rebar.
Agriculture floor: Offers 96,000 day-old chickens, 6,250 tons of sugar, 8,000 tons of wheat, and 1,000 tons of soybean oil and 1,000 tons of date.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 1,000 tons of palm oil, 200 tons of metal scraps, 300 tons of suger and 10 tons of powder copper.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
