Iran's National Post signs memorandum with Post Bank to implement e-government plan

TEHRAN, Iran, May. 31

Iranian Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Technology and CEO of the National Post Company attended the signing ceremony of the Post Bank Memorandum of Understanding, today on Sunday.

The CEO of Iran's National Post Company, Ramezanali Sobhanifar described the country's postal network capacities to provide executive services on behalf of banks across the country, Trend reports citing IRNA.

Referring to the Sixth Development Plan on e-government, as well as the positive achievements of postal cooperation with other banks, he said that outsourcing the physical services of banks to the post office is of the important areas of cooperation between the banks and Post.

Services such as location authentication, account opening, distribution of customer cards, sending checks and distribution of notices, and exploiting the capacity of PSP electronic payment companies were among the provisions of the signed MoU, he said.
