Iran plans to raise investment in petrochemical plants

TEHRAN, Iran, July 27. The Iranian government is planning to increase investment in petrochemical plants, said the head of the Plan and Budget Organization Masoud Kazemi, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

The government has plans for major investments including a $7-billion contract for the construction and development of petrochemical plants, he said.

According to the official, Plan and Budget Organization of Iran plans to improve economic growth in all provinces.

The Iranian government is planning to support downstream industries and the construction of petrochemical plants in the current Iranian year (started March 21,2022).
