BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 17. The export of non-oil products via Khosravi customs of Iran's Kermanshah Province grew by five percent in value and 13 percent in weight during ten months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024 through January 19, 2025) compared to the same period last year (March 21, 2023, through January 20, 2024), Head of the Kermanshah Province Customs Supervision Department Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh told reporters, Trend reports.
He said that 1.6 million tons of non-oil products worth $778 million were exported through Khosravi customs during the ten months.
Abbaszadeh explained that the products (cement, iron ore, fruits, vegetables, steel billets, ceramics, and rubber) exported through the Khosravi customs were mainly sent to Iraq.
The official added that during the past ten months, the total value of exports through other Iranian customs, including products released through Khosravi, amounted to $272 million, with a weight of 533,000 tons, a 24 percent rise in value and a seven percent in weight compared to the same period last year.
To note, Iran's non-oil exports abroad amounted to 127 million tons worth nearly $47.8 billion during ten months of the current Iranian year, up 18 percent in value and 12 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.
