Opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) lost supporters during its discourse with the authorities, opposition Armenian National Movement's (ANM) board chairman Aram Manukyan confessed during a press conference on Friday, News.am reported.

"All through the dialogue ANC lost supporters because the people knew discourse was not to be. We believed dialogue was the best way to make a peaceful transition to a democratic Armenia," Manukyan noted.

"The dialogue's means are depleted, but there are many spectrums of democratic struggle. There is only one important issue in our agenda: resignation of [President] Serzh Sargsyan. And there is no political force, other than ANC, which has real ability to carry out power change," Aram Manukyan maintained.

ANM Board Chairman added they will no longer hold talks with authorities that close roads, declare total war against their own citizens, and refuse dialogue.
