The Venice Commission admitted that Georgia's draft election code fully complies with European standards, chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs Paul Kublashvili told media today.
"The commission's preliminary conclusion stated that the main issues were assessed as positive," he said. In particular, such issues as budgetary funding of political parties, observers' rights connected with voter lists and other were positively assessed."
According to the Venice Commission, the number of voters must be the principle of dividing the majority districts.
