Former Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Goga Gomiashvili was found this morning dead in his apartment in Tbilisi.
According to preliminary data, Gomiashvili committed suicide.
Criminalists and police are working at the scene.
Gomiashvili served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in 2005, when the Foreign Ministry was headed by Salome Zourabichvili. After retiring from the Foreign Ministry, he worked in business structures.
