The developments taking place in the OSCE region are a serious challenge for this organization, Georgian Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili told reporters on Dec.5.
She was commenting on the 21st OSCE Ministerial Council being held in Basel, Switzerland.
Beruchashvili said OSCE Ministerial Council is the most important forum during which 57 participating states of OSCE discuss security issues.
She said this meeting is of particular importance against the backdrop of the current challenges in OSCE region.
The 21st OSCE Ministerial Council kicked off on Dec.4.
During this meeting, foreign ministers of OSCE participating states intend to make efforts in resolving the problems that have emerged in OSCE region in recent years.
