The average monthly salary in the business sector in Georgia in the fourth quarter of 2021 amounted to 1,597 Georgian lari ($483), which is an increase of 180 Georgian lari ($54), compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The same amount also increased by 142 Georgian lari ($43), compared to 1,455 Georgian lari ($440) over the third quarter of 2021.
The average monthly salary in the business sector in Georgia for women in the fourth quarter of 2021 slightly increased by 172 Georgian lari ($52) year-on-year, and by 99 Georgian lari ($30), compared to 1,143 Georgian lari ($346) the third quarter of 202, and amounted to 1,242 Georgian lari ($376).
Meanwhile, the turnover in Georgia’s business sector in the fourth quarter of 2021 increased by 36.6 percent, compared to 32 billion Georgian lari ($9.6 billion) over the same period of 2020, and amounted to 43.8 billion Georgian lari ($13.2 billion).
