BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. Georgia recorded a significant increase in number of visitors travelling from Kyrgyzstan in July 2022, Trend reports citing the Georgian National Tourism Administration.
According to the statistical data, the number of visitors arriving in Georgia from Kyrgyzstan in July 2022 amounted to 1,536 people, which is 2.5 times more than in the same month of 2021 (613 people).
Kyrgyzstan ranked 25th in terms of the number of visitors to Georgia in July 2022, while Russia ranked first (156,737 people).
Meanwhile, the total number of visitors to Georgia in July 2022 amounted to 718,401 people, which is almost a threefold increase compared to the same period of 2021 (259,641 people).
