BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 9. Georgia's revenue from international tourism from January through August 2024, reached $3.6 billion, which is 11.3 percent higher than in the same period last year, the Georgian-based company Galt & Taggart said, Trend reports.
The tourist industry in Georgia brought in $450 million in September 2024, up 7.4 percent from the previous year.
Galt & Taggart is betting the farm that this figure will hit $4.4 billion by year’s end.
Meanwhile, last year, Georgia's tourism revenue hit the jackpot at $4.1 billion, marking a whopping 17.3 percent increase from 2022.
Galt & Taggart, which has been around since 1996, offers competitive brokerage services for both international exchanges and regional, difficult-to-reach marketplaces. It is the biggest brokerage company in Georgia and a top broker in the area.
