Unknown people attacked a local mosque and Muslim school with stones, Molotov cocktails and bottles in the Canadian city of Hamilton, the Anadolu news agency reported. The attacks greatly damaged the buildings.
Local police reported that the attackers first smashed the windows of the mosque, which is the largest among the five mosques of Hamilton and then threw firebombs into the room.
The total damage to the mosque and Muslim school is estimated at 5,000 Canadian dollars.
The city police is searching criminals.
