Syrian Airlines runs four flights from Tripoli to Damascus

The Syrian Aviation Establishment on Tuesday announced that it will run 4 flights between Damascus and Tripoli in Libya, two of which are night flights today, the other two flights will be tomorrow, SANA reported.

The flights will transfer the Syrian citizens in Libya who want to return home as a result of the current situation in Libya.

Director of the Establishment Ghaida Abdul-Latif said in a statement to SANA that the establishment is working in cooperation with the Syrian Embassy in Tripoli to receive applications of Syrians desiring to go back home, stressing readiness to launch unlimited number of flights if necessary.

Meanwhile, Syrian Ambassador to Libya Hilal al-Atrash said the Syrian Embassy has not been informed of any incident to any one of the Syrian community in Libya so far.

Al-Atrash said in a statement to SANA that there are three airplanes coming from Syria to Tripoli to transfer Syrian citizens desiring to go back home.

He added that a ship may be arriving in Benghazi, eastern Libya, to help transfer Syrians to Syria.
