However, both of the sides has not yet officially confirmed the fact of negotiations.
According to the official agency, the negotiations were conducted behind closed doors in a hotel on the island of Djerba, situated near the Libyan border.
"Representatives of the rebels and representatives of the Qaddafi are currently conducting a meeting," - said the source.
