Syrian forces on Thursday killed at least 10 people in rebellious areas near the capital Damascus and in the northern province of Idlib, opposition activists said, dpa reported.
The troops killed seven people and arrested more than 40 men when they raided the area of Reef Damascus on the outskirts of the capital, activists in the area said.
Three others, including a child, were killed by government gunfire in the village of Khan Shaykhoun in Idlib near the border with Turkey, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
