The major part of the Belarusian voters votes early because of their household activities, CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev noted during his meeting with Chairwoman of the Belarusian Central Election Commission Lydia Yermoshina on September 24, reported BELTA.
їMany participants of the early voting, who were asked by CIS observers, noted that during the election day, on Sunday, they would like to visit their country houses to do their usual work,ї Sergei Lebedev noted.
їNobody induces the voters to participate in early voting,ї he highlighted.
According to the CIS Executive Secretary, practically all the polling stations in the country are ready for voting.
H also said that the CIS observersї mission has prepared an interim statement regarding the election campaign. The statement will be published in the afternoon on September 24.
