U.S. crude oil continued falling on Friday after the previous session's brutal losses as the dollar sharply strengthened against the euro and the dollar index rose, Xinhua reported.

Light, sweet crude for June delivery tumbled another 2.62 dollars, or 2.63 percent to settle at 97.18 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. In London, Brent crude for June delivery also fell and last traded below 110 dollars a barrel.
