Russian deputy FMs discuss situation over Iran's nuclear deal in Tehran

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov discussed the situation over the Iran nuclear deal with Deputy Director of the Iranian Presidential Administration Majid Takht-Ravanchi, as well as deputy foreign ministers in Tehran Feb. 15, Russia’s RIA Novosti agency reported.

"During the consultations, the current situation over the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran’s nuclear program was discussed,” said a message published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry. “The parties agreed to continue close coordination in this direction to preserve the JCPOA, as well as to protect their national interests in connection with the negative political dynamics around the agreement.”
