Russia has opened humanitarian corridors for residents of Ukraine's Mariupol and Volnovakha cities to leave, Russia’s Ministry of Defense told reporters, Trend reports citing TASS.
"Russia initiated a temporary ceasefire to allow civilians of the two Ukrainian cities move out beginning 10am (GMT+3) on March 5," the ministry stated.
The Russian Defense Ministry clarified humanitarian corridors and exit routes had been agreed with the Ukrainian side.
