Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan received a special message from U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Clinton intends to visit Turkey in March.
The message was conveyed during U.S. Special Envoy on the Middle East George Mitchell's visit in Ankara, the Hurriyet reported.
During his Middle East tour, Mitchell met with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Foreign Minister Ali Babacan and President Abdullah Gul in Ankara on Feb. 26. The meetings focused on the situation in the Middle East.
