Four people died when they stepped on a land-mine in southeastern province of Batman on Saturday, Xinhua reported according to the semi-official Anatolia news agency on Sunday.
A group of members of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) came to Guney Raman oil field on Saturday evening, opened oil valve and fired it, said the report, adding the PKK members also tied the two guards.
Four villagers who came to the spot to extinguish the fire and rescue the guards died when they stepped on a land-mine.
