Al Qaeda leader of Turkey branch executed in Afghanistan

Al Qaeda leader of Turkish origin, Serdal Erbas, nick-named "Abuzer", has been executed in Afghanistan, Sabah newspaper reported.
According to the report, "Abuzer" was the leader of Al Qaeda responsible for the Turkish branch of the militant organization.
Erbas joined the rebels in Chechnya 16 years ago. However, as a result of a number of problems with the "Caucasian Emirate" militants under whom he was consolidated, he joined the ranks of Al-Qaeda.
