Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with Palestine's Foreign Affairs Minister Riad Malki in Ankara on Friday, Todays Zaman reported.
The meeting was closed to the media.
The two ministers will attend a reception that will be hosted by Palestinian Ambassador to Turkey Nabil Maarouf on the occasion of Malki's visit.
Turkey strongly backs Palestine's bid for statehood in the UN General Assembly. Ankara also played an active role in bridging the differences between the two main Palestinian political groups.
Ankara has condemned new Israeli settlements going up in the West Bank and East Jerusalem and has said Israel's move will derail any attempts aimed at reaching a compromise between Israel and Palestine.
