Turkish Airlines continues cancelling domestic flights scheduled for February 17-18 and their number reached 117, Anadolu agency reported Feb. 17.
The flights are canceled due to heavy snowfall in Istanbul.
The airline canceled 88 domestic flights in the morning of February 17.
Turkish Airlines also canceled more than 80 flights due to heavy snowfall in Istanbul on February 11. More than 100 domestic and international flights were cancelled due to heavy snowfall in Istanbul in January 2015.
Heavy snowfall continues in Turkey for two days. According to the Turkish media, the snow cover in Istanbul has reached 25 centimeters.
