Over 15 militants of the "Islamic State" terrorist organization have been detained in Turkey's Ankara city, the country's Vatan newspaper reported July 27.
Reportedly, all the detained were members of illegal armed gangs in Syria and Iraq, as well as the "Islamic State" terrorist organization.
Special operations against the left-wing and ultra-radical Islamists have been intensified in Turkey in recent days.
Earlier, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that special operations against the illegal structures will continue in the country.
Over 300 people were detained as part of the antiterrorist operation held in 22 cities of Turkey July 24.
