Major terrorist attack averted in Turkey

A large terrorist attack has been averted in Ankara, Turkey, Kanal7 TV channel reported Nov.20.
The police have revealed 100 kilograms of explosives near a highway in Ankara as a result of the special operation.
Members of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) are suspected of planning this terrorist attack, according to the preliminary data.
Turkey was hit with two explosions, the death toll of which reached 97 people, 246 more got injured on Oct.10. At the time, Turkey's National Intelligence Organization said the "Islamic State" stood behind the attack.
