By Orkhan Guluzade - Trend:

Turkey will strengthen the protection against hacker attacks by working out a new cyber security strategy, the Haber 7 newspaper reported Sept.6 citing the sources in the country’s Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.

Reportedly, the state information resources control body will be created in accordance with the new security strategy.

The new structure is also considered to be responsible for neutralizing the hacker attack threats.

Cyber attacks particularly threaten the websites of Turkey’s law enforcement bodies.

Turkey’s online banking system was paralyzed for 10 days as a result of the recent cyber attack.

Earlier, the confidential passport information of 50 million Turkish citizens was spread online as a result of the cyber attack.

Turkey launched an investigation Apr.6 into the spread of the passport information of the country’s citizens online.
