Baku, Azerbaijan, March 7
By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:
Using smartphones, and in particular, internet and social networks, may be banned for servicemen in Turkey, Trend reports March 7 with reference to the Turkish media.
Presently, using smartphones is partially prohibited in the territory of some military units of Turkey, but this rule may be applied to all military units.
“The main problem with using smartphones in military units is that smartphones can be used for espionage purposes,” the report said.
The General Staff of Turkey hasn’t confirmed or refuted this information so far.
