Volume of Iranian cargo transshipment via Turkish ports announced

In November 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Iran through the Turkish seaports, amounted to 2.6 million tons, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

In November 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Iran by vessels through the Turkish seaports, amounted to 1.6 million tons, and floating under the flag of other countries to 960,542 tons.

The volume of transshipment of Iranian cargos by vessels, floating under the Turkish flag, amounted to 44,208 tons.

Herein, 130,457 tons of cargos were transported from Iran through the ports of Turkey, the ministry said.

At this time, 4,379 vessels arrived to Turkish ports, gross tonnage of which amounted to 68million tons.

For this period, 1,577 vessels arrived to Turkish ports under the Turkish flag and 2,802 under the flags of other countries.

The gross tonnage of vessels, arrived to the Turkish ports under the Turkish flag, amounted to 11 million tons, and vessels under the foreign flags to 57 million tons.

From January through November 2019, Turkish ports received 50,987 vessels, gross tonnage of which amounted to 728.7 million tons.

At this time, 19,568 vessels under the Turkish flag, and 31,149 vessels under the flag of other countries arrived to the Turkish ports.

In the first 11 months of 2019, gross tonnage of vessels arrived to Turkish ports under the Turkish flag, amounted to 111 million tons, and the vessels under the flag of other countries to 616 million tons.
