Business trips from Turkey to Uzbekistan drops by over 70 percent

From January through November 2019, the number of Turkish citizens visiting Uzbekistan through İŞKUR for job-seeking dropped by 76.2 percent compared to the same period in 2018, Turkish Employment Agency (İSKUR) told Trend.
In this period, 396 Turkish citizens visited Uzbekistan through İŞKUR.
From January through November 2019, 18,053 Turkish citizens went abroad via ISKUR, which is 19 percent less compared to the same period of 2018.
In November 2019, 113,035 citizens were provided with jobs through ISKUR in Turkey, which is 3.7 percent more compared to November 2018. Of those employed, 31.9 percent were women and 68.1 percent were men.
Some 98.7 percent of the total number of those provided with jobs in November 2019 accounted for the private sector.
In November 2019, the number of unemployed in Turkey reached over 4 million people, of which 50.4 percent were women and 49.6 percent were men.
